Create and hand paint a Sacred Heart or Mask steeped in the rich cultural history of Mexico after getting an expert demonstration from artist Diego Marcial Rios

Breathtakingly colorful Sacred Hearts and Masks have long been part of Mexican culture.  Beautifully decorated paper mache  masks are often used in celebration of Dia de los Muertos  or Day of the Dead. Dive into the rich history of the paper mache tradition alongside internationally acclaimed artist  Diego Marcial Rios, who overviews its fascinating background before giving a demo on the craft.  Once you have got the basics down, roll up your sleeves to create and hand paint your own unique, expressive work.

( Note: This is not a “paint by numbers” or Paint Night type of an art class! Attendees create art according to their own unique artistic vision.)
