New painting " Will kill Blacks and Mexicans Cheap"

I have created art that concerns police brutality for many years. My latest painting is entitled “ Will Kill Blacks and Mexicans Cheap” , 11” x 14” acrylics on panel.  The macabre iconography consists of a running skeletal puppet figure dressed in a police uniform. The puppet figure holds a bloody club in one hand and a tear gas canister in the other. The black boots of this hideous figure have red spikes on the bottom. The background contains fire, smoke, and dead human bodies.

Police misconduct is a deep, systemic problem. The “ prison industrial complex” must be dismantled before a more productive and ethical system can take its place. The BLM movement is a step in the right direction.  Major reforms are necessary! Time now for Justice!
