"I carved this wood cut out of the side of a discarded wall panel. I found the wood panel in an abandoned house. I used both American and Japanese wood carving hand tools to carve the images.

"I was inspired to carve this huge woodcut after hearing about the vast political turmoil between North American nations. There is no end to the turmoil."
